The terms that come up when you talk to an OnlyFans agency or read a contract, each defined in one sentence you can quote, with the detail underneath.

[questions and answers](https://bunny-agency.men/faq/) page covers how these terms apply to your account.

## Account manager

An account manager is the person at an agency who is responsible for one creator's account and is his main point of contact.

The account manager agrees the plan and the limits with the creator, coordinates the people who do the marketing and the messages, and reports on the numbers. Ask any agency who your account manager would be before you sign.

## Chatter

A chatter is a person who answers fan messages on a creator's account, in the creator's voice and inside the limits he sets.

Chatters keep up the conversations that paid messages are sold through. A creator working with chatters should be able to read every conversation and change what may be offered at any time.

## PPV (pay-per-view)

A PPV is a locked message or post that a fan pays to open, on top of any subscription.

PPV messages can be sent to one fan or to many at once. The price is set per message, and what sells is tested and adjusted over time.

## Mass message

A mass message is one message sent to many subscribers at once, often with a PPV attached.

Mass messages go to many subscribers at once, so they are planned around what those subscribers have bought before.

## Subscription price

The subscription price is the monthly amount a fan pays for access to a creator's page.

On OnlyFans the creator sets his own subscription price, between $4.99 and $50 a month, or free. A free page has no subscription price and earns through paid messages instead.

## Free page and paid page

A free OnlyFans page lets anyone follow at no cost and earns from paid messages and tips, while a paid page charges a monthly subscription.

Some creators run one of each: a free page to attract followers and a paid page for subscribers. Which one suits an account depends on its audience and how the creator wants to sell.

## Renewal rate

The renewal rate is the share of a creator's subscribers who pay again when their subscription period ends.

A high renewal rate means subscribers find the page worth keeping. It is one of the numbers a regular report should show, next to new subscribers and message sales.

## Net revenue

Net revenue is what a creator earns after the platform's fee and before any agency commission.

Agencies differ in whether their commission is charged on gross revenue or on net revenue, which changes what the creator keeps. The commission basis should be written in the contract.

## Revenue share

A revenue share is an agency fee charged as a percentage of the creator's revenue instead of a fixed monthly price.

With a revenue share, the agency earns more only when the creator does. The percentage, what it is charged on and any upfront fees are the first things to compare between agencies.

## Commission basis

The commission basis is the figure an agency's percentage is applied to, such as gross revenue or revenue after the platform's fee.

The same percentage costs a creator different amounts depending on the basis. Ask any agency to write the basis next to the percentage.

## Notice period

A notice period is the time between telling an agency you are leaving and the day the contract ends.

A fair contract gives both sides the same notice period and says what happens to the account, the content and any commission after it ends.

## Exclusivity clause

An exclusivity clause stops a creator from working with another agency, or on another platform, while a contract runs.

Exclusivity can be reasonable for the account the agency manages. It is worth reading closely if it reaches other platforms or continues after the contract ends.

## Payout

A payout is the transfer of a creator's earnings from the platform to the bank account or payment method on his account.

The platform pays whatever payout method is set on the account. A creator should keep that method in his own name, whatever agency he works with.

## Identity verification

Identity verification is the check a platform runs on a creator's legal identity and age before he can earn.

OnlyFans verifies creators before paying them. The details of that check are not shown to fans on the page.

## Geo-blocking

Geo-blocking hides a creator's page from visitors in the countries he chooses.

Creators use it to keep people who know them, in their home country or city, from finding the page. It works on location, so it is one layer of privacy and not the only one.

## Faceless account

A faceless account is a creator account that never shows the creator's face and is built around his body, his voice and a recognizable style instead.

Faceless accounts need their own marketing plan and extra care with tattoos, rooms and reflections that could identify the creator.

## DMCA takedown

A DMCA takedown is a legal notice that asks a website to remove content that was posted without the owner's permission.

Creators and agencies send takedowns when content is copied from a page and shared elsewhere. It removes copies after the fact and does not stop the copying itself.
