OnlyFans can be anonymous to your fans and is never anonymous to OnlyFans. Fans see the name, photos and posts you choose. OnlyFans holds your legal name, ID, address and bank details, and it can pass your earnings to the tax office.

## Who can see what?

Anonymity on OnlyFans depends on who is looking. This is what each party can see about
a creator, according to OnlyFans' own terms and help pages:

The row that matters most is the first. Your fans know only what you publish. So
staying anonymous comes down to what you post and how you promote it; the platform
itself does not publish anything that gives you away.

## What does OnlyFans need from you before you can post?

Anyone opening a creator account has to be at least 18 and hand over
more than 9 pieces of identifying information: full name, postal address,
date of birth, a government photo ID, two selfies, social media handles and bank details,
plus a W-9 and Social Security number in the US. The check does not stop at sign-up.
Every creator account gets a new selfie check every 30 days.

None of this is shown to fans. It exists so that OnlyFans knows exactly who runs each

Use geo-blocking. OnlyFans lets you hide your profile
by IP address, by country, or by state or province in the US, Australia and Canada,
so the people most likely to know you, in your own town, region or country, never see it
while browsing. Some creators block their home country outright and sell only to fans

## Does working with an agency make you less anonymous?

An agency learns who you are, because it signs a contract with you. Fans learn nothing
